For as far as the eye can see...

In Southwest Louisiana, the words are Crawfish, and Rice...

They not only share a plate but many don't know that they also share the same fields...

The farmers here use the same fields to grow both with the hope and Cajun Prayers that both bring them a Bumper Crop.

Ya know.... these Cajuns know what their doing....

As of June of 2023, my wife and I have decided to begin a new journey along our paths in life. We have decided to choose the road less taken, and have packed what we can into the back of our van and have left Texas, traveling deep into Mexico and are now are residing in the Pueblo known as La Floresta, Ajijic, in the state of Jalisco Mexico. The cultures, history and the people of Mexico are what brought us here. We are hoping to travel around Mexico learning and sharing the beauty of this country.
