Whether it was to go work in the fields, bring in the cattle, milk the cows or go fishing or hunting.

Where I was raised, getting up early enough to see the beautiful Central Texas sunrises was a everyday event.

"If the sun beat ya up... then you've started the day late." was something that was taught to most country boys and girls.

At least back then it was.

As of June of 2023, my wife and I have decided to begin a new journey along our paths in life. We have decided to choose the road less taken, and have packed what we can into the back of our van and have left Texas, traveling deep into Mexico and are now are residing in the Pueblo known as La Floresta, Ajijic, in the state of Jalisco Mexico. The cultures, history and the people of Mexico are what brought us here. We are hoping to travel around Mexico learning and sharing the beauty of this country.
