Thank you. Caught him early one morning as the sun snuck through the window when we lived in Las Vegas, NV about 9 months ago.

Artist's Description

The Kokopelli (flute player) was believed to represent many different charecters in Native American Folklore. Depending on which Tribe or Culture, he ranged from being a Story Teller, Musician, Fertily God, Trickster, Traveling Trader or a symbol for good harvest. Pictographs of him go all the way back to 750 AD.

This one appeared early one morning framed on the wall of my home by a shaft of the morning light coming through my window.

About John Glass

John Glass

As of June of 2023, my wife and I have decided to begin a new journey along our paths in life. We have decided to choose the road less taken, and have packed what we can into the back of our van and have left Texas, traveling deep into Mexico and are now are residing in the Pueblo known as La Floresta, Ajijic, in the state of Jalisco Mexico. The cultures, history and the people of Mexico are what brought us here. We are hoping to travel around Mexico learning and sharing the beauty of this country. We hope you can travel with us via my photography, Comments are welcomed.
