I love driving the backroads of South and Cental Louisana. This old mill in Rapides Parsh caught my attention on one of my weekend drives. Old wood and rusty metal has a way of preserving themselves. For some of us there is beauty in its colors. There's also a lot of us who think if these types of walls could talk they would have a heck of story to tell.
About John Glass
As of June of 2023, my wife and I have decided to begin a new journey along our paths in life. We have decided to choose the road less taken, and have packed what we can into the back of our van and have left Texas, traveling deep into Mexico and are now are residing in the Pueblo known as La Floresta, Ajijic, in the state of Jalisco Mexico. The cultures, history and the people of Mexico are what brought us here. We are hoping to travel around Mexico learning and sharing the beauty of this country.
