Through The Showroom Window.

I can remember walking downtown on Congress Avenue in Austin, Texas as a small boy. Before the Malls and Big Shopping Centers had been made.

The showroom windows were full of Christmas. Toys,Tinsel, Silver and Gold, Trees with ornaments that glistened in the lights.

You walked as a family, stopping at each window. Pointing out all the beautiful items that were just out of reach and wished that maybe just maybe, Santa was looking over your shoulder and took note of what made you smile the most....
