Artist's Description

The other day I found these 2 old barrel rings hanging on a back fence at a Estate Sale... They were behind an old barn and it was obvious that I had been the first in sometime to show interest in them since I had to fight my way through brush and brambles to get to them...

I took them to the elderly man who sat off to the side of the sales desk watching his life possessions being carried away, and ask "What would you take for these?" His answer was "Aww;;;;give me a Quarter each for them." I gladly paid the 50 cents, not knowing for sure what I was going to do with them but..

By the time I got home I had come up with an idea.

Each hang from a rawhide leather strap with a barrel swivel above each. This allows both of them to swirl individually from the other with the slightest touch of wind.

The thought is one I believe in strongly....

It goes this way...

There are 2 Worlds We Live Within.

Our Inner World... What Makes...

About John Glass

John Glass

As of June of 2023, my wife and I have decided to begin a new journey along our paths in life. We have decided to choose the road less taken, and have packed what we can into the back of our van and have left Texas, traveling deep into Mexico and are now are residing in the Pueblo known as La Floresta, Ajijic, in the state of Jalisco Mexico. The cultures, history and the people of Mexico are what brought us here. We are hoping to travel around Mexico learning and sharing the beauty of this country. We hope you can travel with us via my photography, Comments are welcomed.
