Description
Standing in my kitchen drinking a cup of coffee early one moring I noticed the sun coming through a window and placing a perfect opportunity to frame some of my pictures. Sunrises and Sunsets are two of my favorite times for photography. To me the light is sharper and the air cleaner allowing a better shot.
Being "Raised Country" I focus a lot on Western themes. The traditions that were part of the Cowboy Era still continue by it's people teaching and sharing with the upcoming generations the ethics of being Raised Right.

Thank you, just a ole country boy carrying out a tradition. In my Daddy's house, the hat came off when you stepped through the front door. It's the same way in my house. Old traditions are hard to break.

Beautiful composition! Dramatic and elegant! v
John Glass replied:
I appreciate the compliment. Someone else brought up the understanding that photo also representated. Where and when I was born a gentleman took his hat when entering a home and never would you see a gentleman sitting at a meal table with his hat on. But then again, I guess those days are gone and I have to live with it. Again, thank you.
