The sun rises over the river in Lake Charles, LA. The whistle of a freight train coming up the far side slowly grew louder until it and it's weight on the trestle rumbled so loud everything else was drowned out. Then it made it's way past us and left us with just the "thump, thump of the cars and trucks crossing the bridge above us.
About John Glass
As of June of 2023, my wife and I have decided to begin a new journey along our paths in life. We have decided to choose the road less taken, and have packed what we can into the back of our van and have left Texas, traveling deep into Mexico and are now are residing in the Pueblo known as La Floresta, Ajijic, in the state of Jalisco Mexico. The cultures, history and the people of Mexico are what brought us here. We are hoping to travel around Mexico learning and sharing the beauty of this country.
