The Extension Bridge was completed in 2010 cost $114 Million Dollars....
I was there the day the Bridge's final span was placed just over the right shoulder of the Worker Monument which is located outside the Visitor Center of the Dam... I have a picture of it going into place (somewhere) I've got to find that picture.. Smile
As of June of 2023, my wife and I have decided to begin a new journey along our paths in life. We have decided to choose the road less taken, and have packed what we can into the back of our van and have left Texas, traveling deep into Mexico and are now are residing in the Pueblo known as La Floresta, Ajijic, in the state of Jalisco Mexico. The cultures, history and the people of Mexico are what brought us here. We are hoping to travel around Mexico learning and sharing the beauty of this country.
